Cocoon Actor's Theater
This program focuses on servicing adult actors and audiences, with some roles for teens and occasionally a child, depending on the selected work. Spurned from the desire of actors to work as an ensemble, this idea is moving toward the direction of a permanent company--a theater core group of individuals rotating jobs to perform throughout the year. It is designed to follow a "community theater" format, meaning auditions are open to anyone and all involved are volunteers. This program currently offers more classical pieces of literature than most of Cocoon's other productions, slated for one or two performances yearly.
