Cunneen-Hackett theater building, 12 Vassar St. dance studio, 2nd floor.
All roles open for this cast of sixteen, ages 18 & up.
Seeking multi-racial actors, dancers/movers, & percussionists.
Two roles, male & female, can look 16-25 yrs. old, appear nude briefly in a scene.
Performs April, 2016 at Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center in POK.
Rehearsals scheduled some M-Th nights,
and some Sat and Sun. morn. &/or afternoons at Cocoon in POK.
Starts slowly in Nov. & Dec., more frequent in Jan., Feb., March.
Equus, written in 1973, tells the story of a psychiatrist who attempts to treat
a young man who blinded six horses.
The play uses a chorus of ‘horses’ to dance/move throughout the play, as well as live percussionists, who also appear in some scenes as people.
